Have you ever had your 15 minutes of fame? Plenty of people did but few were able to capitalize on it.
But what about celebrities that everyone thought were going to make it big and have a long, bountiful career? Sure, we can all imagine that being a celebrity is one of the best things in the world what with all the attention, money, and fame, but some people who have lived through it all eventually decided it wasn’t for them, so they chose to have normal jobs instead.
That’s exactly what we want to talk about today, which is why we’ve prepared a list of 11 celebrities who left the limelight in pursuit of regular jobs.

Geoffrey Owens
Everyone remembers Geoffrey Owens from “The Cosby Show”, right? You wouldn’t think you’d find him at Trader Joe’s, and you probably would never think he’d be bagging groceries, of all things!
But that’s exactly what happened in 2018 when a fan of the show was out shopping and managed to snap a few pictures of Owens. Thankfully, Owens took it all like a champ, saying that every job is worthwhile and that he wasn’t ashamed of his side job during an interview with “Good Morning America”.
But Owens didn’t actually want to quit the acting scene altogether and was, in fact, looking for small parts since “The Cosby Show” ended in 1992. Luckily, the pictures and subsequent interview helped in that regard and catapulted him towards other parts in “Bless This Mess” and “The Haves and the Have Nots.”
