Over the course of 229 years, our country has seen 46 presidents (including Joe Biden), and we may think that they came from a variety of different states. But no… Most U.S. presidents were actually born in Virginia.
The reason is unknown (if there’s a reason), but eight U.S. presidents were actually born in the Old Dominion. Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, George Washington, James Madison, Zachary Taylor, John Taylor, William Henry Harrison, and Woodrow Wilson were all presidents who came from Virginia.
