John Malkovich

When Jim and Marilyn Walpole were on a weekend bus tour in Toronto, neither could have expected the worst to happen. That’s when Jim stumbled and fell into scaffolding, but the accident didn’t just cause a few bumps and bruises. Jim ended up slitting his throat when John Malkovich swooped in and put pressure on his neck.

Walpole asked for Malkovich’s name when paramedics arrived, but the star only introduced himself as John, saying that Jim was going to be alright now.

After the three had parted ways, Walpole realized who his savior was!

Tom Hardy

Not a lot of people would put their lives in danger for a moped. Most of us would call the police and let the authorities handle the theft. But not Tom Hardy, who witnesses say swooped in like a superhero when, back in 2017, saw two thieves stealing a moped.

The two managed to crash the vehicle into a car, but only one of them fled the scene. Hardy chased him down to a bus stop where he patted the man down to check for weapons before handing him over to officers.

Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise has long since been known as an outstanding actor, especially since he performs his own stunts. Well, the day came in 1996 when he would perform a real-life stunt, saving Heloisa Vinhas, an aspiring actress, from certain death.

It all happened in Santa Monica, California, where she was the victim of a hit-and-run. Cruise just happened to be driving by, but he stopped, called 911, and waited for paramedics to arrive. More than that, upon finding out that she was uninsured, the actor even paid for her $7,000 medical bill and later got in touch with Vinhas to make sure she was doing OK.
