Just because your toaster is broken, it doesn’t mean that it belongs in the trash can. There’s a huge demand online for different parts and pieces from all kinds of broken appliances. From rice steamers to microwave ovens, there is a plethora of appliances you have in your household right now that could generate some money.
For instance, steamer baskets can be sold for $10 on eBay. Instead of disposing of broken appliances, put them on eBay. Many people want to repair their broken appliances rather than buying new ones, which, by the way, most of them come up with a huge price tag.
The lesson: Instead of tossing the whole appliance, try to pick up the good parts and pieces from it and sell them on eBay.
