When we place that thin sheet paper seat cover, we feel more comfortable in any public restroom, but, in reality, our brains trick us, because you might as well just sit straight down.
Those toilet seat covers we all use from time to time are actually made of tissue paper which are absorbent, meaning that any bacteria or liquids will rapidly be picked up to your tush. But don’t fret. Your skin is your shield and all the protection you need.
Any potentially harmful bacteria you might pick up would have to find a way into your body through an open wound or, more likely, your hands.
