Demi Moore

We would truly think you lived under a rock if you didn’t know who Demi Moore was. With her acting debut taking place in the 1980s, it took her a while before she became an A-list celebrity. You may remember her from her role in the soap opera General Hospital and maybe even from her breakthrough role in About Last Night, which brought her more fame and let her end up among the most sought-after actresses afterward.

In this red carpet look, while you wouldn’t think that it would be appropriate, high-waisted jeans with a white T-shirt and a blazer are thought to be semi-casual today, back in the 1990s they were just emerging. A lot of the celebrities of the time wore these types of outfits, which even contributed to their popularity today. And the Ghost star looked amazing back then, just like she looks today!

Mel Gibson

You may not want to admit it, but you definitely have at least one movie you loved that starred Mel Gibson, if not multiple of them. The actor has been a staple in the industry for a long time. However, he made his debut back in 1977, in Australia. Before he broke into Hollywood, he was very well known in the Australian industry, even playing Max in the original Mad Max series (the third movie being his first six-figure paycheck).

Not only was Mel Gibson one of the hottest actors in Hollywood back in the late ’80s and ’90s, but he was also named the Sexiest Man Alive in 1985. This red carpet look picture was taken five years after he got that title, and even then he looked like a million bucks. And it was still before he starred in Braveheart!
