6. The Apple Newton
The most beloved Apple product is probably the iPhone, and although Apple Inc. has made a wide range of world-changing items, some of them were just disasters. So was the case of the Apple Newton MessagePad. It was basically a tablet computer.
Its main features were taking notes and translating handwriting into text. But it wasn’t able to fulfill its purpose. The handwriting translation was actually terrible. It was like trying to figure out what your doctor has prescribed to you.
Even Steve Jobs said it was a bad idea.
