Leaving your trash out before putting it in the trash can just because the trash pickup day hasn’t come yet is a terrible idea. It’s not only a neighborhood eyesore, but also a target for troublemaker animals  like raccoons, rats and opossums. These pesky animals can instantly turn your beautiful yard into a disaster area once they break into your garbage bags.

Plus, trash left in the heat starts to stink, and no one wants a nasty smell that’s coming from their front yards. Keep things clean and remember to take out your trash only on your neighborhood’s designated day. If you’ll be out of town on trash pickup day, don’t take it out early; just ask a trusted neighbor to do it.
