Decorate Your Face Mask
You may not have the time and resources to spook your community with a full-on costume during your trip to the grocery store, but you can still decorate your mask. Don’t be afraid to personalize your mask with drawings or prints of fangs, scary mouths or blood spatter.
You can turn this into a family event, too, especially if you start by making your own DIY face mask! Just make sure you follow proper guidelines when you do. Your mask should be thick enough to hold the virus at bay but each enough to breathe in. It shouldn’t be too tight, either, otherwise the backs of your ears will start hurting.
From then, consider using iron-on patches, fabric paint, and glue on smaller decorative pieces!
