Severed Feet
Since the summer of 2007, 21 feet have been found on the shores of the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. We wish we could tell you they were mannequin feet, but this isn’t the case.
Many of them still had shoes on and experts say there is no evidence that they were forcibly removed from the bodies. Still, we don’t know exactly where they came from, but some theories that have been floating around are rather compelling.
Some believe that the feet belong to either victims of plane crashes or victims of the 2011 Japan tsunami. Out of the 21, 10 have been identified.
Incontinence Pads
Between 2008 and 2019 between 500 and 5,000 shipping containers were lost at sea. It’s kind of shocking to see such a wild variation in numbers, isn’t it?
Well, in 2020, 11 shipping containers were found… near Devon, England, as opposed to staying attached to their respective ships. They were filled with incontinence pads, so you could very well imagine the mess they created, not to mention the environmental damage all those pads did on their journey out at sea!
