Jackie Chan gave an interview to ChannelNews Asia in 2011 that impressed millions of his fans around the globe. He said “If he is capable, he can make his own money. If he is not, then he will just be wasting my money,” about his son’s inheritance.
Some said that he was quite harsh and that it’s a parent’s duty to ensure their children will be well taken care of. Others think that having a famous, rich father is enough to teach anyone how to be good with money, not to mention the opportunities he’s getting through his father alone.
