Yes, the vast majority of thrift stores are pretty strict when it comes to which items hit their shelves, but some damaged or stained items slip through their fingers too. Plus, there are no standard rules applied to which donations end up on racks and otherwise.
That’s why you should really keep your glasses in your purse when thrift store shopping. Look closely at everything you want to buy to make sure it doesn’t have fits or stains. Better yet… LOOK TWICE! No one wants to wear damaged or stained clothes, so no matter how cheap they are, there’s virtually no reason to buy them.
