The woman who endured 75 days of labor…upside down!
Joanna Krzysztonek, of Wroclaw, Poland was pregnant with triplets, but after losing one of her babies to a premature birth, doctors told her to lie in bed with her feet above her head, assuming an almost upside down position so that the other two children could be born! While doctors consider Krzysztonek to have been in labor since losing the first baby after five months of pregnancy, the two surviving babies were born at 32 weeks into the pregnancy. Although the mother said that the time spent upside down slightly affected her balance, she is now able to walk without any issues.
