Going to drive-in movie theaters
Although we can still find rive-in movie theaters across the country, they are not as popular as they once were. Back in the 1950s, there were more than 4000 drive-in theaters operating in the U.S. Right now; there are just around 300 drive-in movie theaters still operating in our country.
The difference is huge, but it’s not surprising at all since most people go to the cinema now or just watch their favorite movies on Netflix in the comfort of their own homes. How many kids have visited a drive-in movie theater these days? Ask your grandchildren if they have… Their answer would probably be, “No! What’s that?”
