
Life has changed enormously in the last several decades, and what you may find normal, some would find strange, and by some, we meant to say younger folks. Your grandkids, for instance, will never understand certain activities and some items you used to have when you were younger.
For a kid nowadays, a floppy disk is pretty unfamiliar. Think about it… some things you used when you were little and now find in museums. As sad as it may sound to you, time flies by way too fast, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing, but yet your grandkids will never fully understand how you and your spouse grew up.

… and apparently the person who wrote this doesn’t know what a skate key is for either.
Kids with a skate key in their pockets weren’t wearing the leather boots with permanently attached wheels and axles. They clamped skates onto the soles of their shoes, using the key to tighten them in place. Not to “adjust the fit”, as the article claims.
