DoorDash and Grubhub

Not too long ago, you could have said that you’re really lucky if your favorite pizza (or burger) was delivered right on your doorsteps. Now, we can say that that’s normalcy. So, you might be tempted to say that DoorDash and Grubhub have their delivery services for more than a decade.

Well, you’re wrong. Even if Grubhub was founded in 2004, they didn’t launch their own delivery service until 2015, while DoorDash launched it in 2013.

Instacart

Instacart was pretty popular before the pandemic, too, but during the lockdown, their services were (and still are) really appreciated. With partners like Kroger, Costco, and Aldi, Americans were able to get everything on their shopping list without setting foot in one of these stores.

However, you couldn’t do that before 2012… that’s when the service was launched, so not even Instacart has a decade of fame.
