He or she mentions that the best cream is found at Walmart. As soon as you get there, you just can’t find it. -Why?- You might ask. Well… that’s probably because it is a top-selling item.
Most top-selling products are placed lower or higher than eye level. Retailers want to grab our attention with the items that tend to sit on their shelves for months, not for days. That’s why splurge products are placed at eye level.
They most likely are products we don’t need, but placement plays an important role in selling a certain item and retailers aren’t afraid to use it.
