6. Kinder Surprise Eggs
Ah, the sweet forbidden fruit. This candy has been banned for what it feels like forever, and frankly, it seems like it will never end up on our shelves. The chocolate eggs come with a little toy inside and it has been deemed a choking hazard as it is mainly aimed at children, which brought along its ban.
Yet, our neighbors do not have any problems with it, probably because the toy comes inside a little container and it would be hand for kids to swallow that. Even so, be careful if you want to bring some over the border for the little ones in your family as there’s a record of people who tried to smuggle them getting detained in airports.
5. No texting and walking
We all have seen people doing this on the street, not paying attention to where they are going. Yet, some cannot seem to stop and they are not only putting themselves in danger but the ones around them too. No wonder that Hawaii ended up banning it.
While attempting to cross the street in Hawaii you cannot be texting, or you are passable of being fined up to 99$ for repeated offenses. It may seem harsh, but when you think about it, it makes sense. All your attention should be focused on the traffic. There’s no surprise here that a municipality in New Jersey followed suit and adopted the ban as well.
4. Snowball fights
If you happen to go on a vacation with your family in Aspen, Colorado this winter, you should say goodbye to a good old snowball fight. One of the classic fun activities to do when snowing is banned there and you can actually get in trouble for it as it is banned. Not the action itself, but the snowballs, which are integral to the fun.
Why? The state sees the snowballs as a form of missile. And it’s not the only one! So are stones, and you cannot throw them at people, or in public or any place otherwise deemed public.
