While grandparents may not mind noisy toys since they only have to hear their din on occasion, every time they gift their grandchild one, it means subjecting that kid’s parents to a cacophony of unwanted noise, including the inevitable screaming tantrum when that toy is taken away.
So, when you’re looking to treat your grandkid with a little gift, perhaps that 12 piece drum kit you were eyeing should be replaced with something a little less noisy.
14. Compare their grandkids to one another.
If you have a grandkid who always gets straight A’s and another one who hasn’t turned in an assignment in weeks, you should know better than to compare them to each other. After all, everything from parenting style to sleep habits to neurological differences can affect a child’s behavior, and comparisons certainly won’t help.
