5. Vacuums
Again, if you want something to withstand the test of time, especially when it comes to appliances, avoid Walmart. There are other retailers out there that have great deals on vacuums too. Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy, and Amazon are just a few.
Don’t fall into the temptation of buying something just because it’s cheap. Do your research first and check the options. Personally, I think this vacuum cleaner is the best.
6. Luggage
Although we miss going on vacation (Sen. Ted Cruz and his family would say otherwise, I guess), we should at least get ready for our future trips. And, believe me, we can’t do that by purchasing luggage at Walmart.
Why? The same problem: quality. We don’t say that your Walmart luggage would fall apart in the airport, but the chances are greater. In fact, according to a recent survey conducted by Consumer Reports, Walmart, along with Target, Sears, Burlington Coat Factory, and Ross, are the worst places to purchase a suitcase.
Experts suggest buying them from Amazon, eBags.com, Luggage Pros, or REI.
