Out of batteries? Grab your car keys and drive to Costco! Not Walmart, not Sam’s Club, but Costco. Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand of AA alkaline batteries is the best of the best. In fact, they are manufactured by Duracell.
Consumer Reports actually tested out 15 AA alkaline battery brands, and they concluded that Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand is top.
10. Meat and fish
If you’re a regular Walmart customer, you know that its grocery section is not in tip-top shape. In fact, most customers’ thoughts regarding Walmart’s grocery section are less than complimentary.
When Consumer Reports asked more than 50,000 Americans to give their opinion on their store preferences and shopping habits a couple of years ago, they discovered that approximately 75 percent of Walmart customers had at least one major complaint about the big retailer.
Guess which was the most common complaint… Yeah, you’re right: the questionable quality of meat and fish.
