2. Burglars know how clean and organized you keep your home
It may not seem like a life-and-death piece of information from your point of view, but burglars want to know (and do know) how clean your home is. Leaving wet towels on the floor or throwing T-shirts on the couch is not a big deal to most of us, but burglars enjoy watching you do that.
Why? Because they assume that a cluttered and messy home is more likely to be less secure. You can think of it as a reflection. Your house appearance says more about you than you realize. The chief security officer at Fortified Estate, Jon Knight, adds that your yard is equally important as burglars associate a messy yard with a place that’s easy to rob.
