6. Burglars know your relationship with your neighbors
A good neighbor is a great weapon to ward off burglars. That’s why your local burglar may know whether or not you’re friends with your neighbors. Snooping around your house for a couple of days is more than enough to find out about your relationship with your neighbors and their work schedule, too.
They might even take photos of you and your neighbors. Deputy Alex Coker with the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department in Mississippi suggests that at least two neighbors should know your phone number. If they are actually senior citizens, the better because they don’t leave their house as most adults.
