#7 Tweet: Miss Teen USA used the “N” word
While not all of us have an academic vocabulary, sometimes we just have to open the “intelligent” drawer in our heads, especially when facing certain circumstances. For example, let’s say you are in front of thousands of people and you have to give a speech; well if that’s the case, some words are definitely off-limits.
Still, Miss Teen USA thought that it is totally appropriate to use the “N” word in her tweets. So, after winning the crown, people wanted to find out more about the one who won (Karlie Hay), so they checked her Twitter account. What they found backfired instantly.
