In addition to all the vintage board games, you can find, keep an eye out for old scrabble sets. Don’t worry too much about the condition of the box or board, just take a good look at the tiles themselves.
If they’re in good shape, a lot of jewelry makers could use them to make cute little bracelets, necklaces, or earrings. Even if you’re not the crafty type, you can sell them to jewelry makers for a small profit!
While you’re at it, look for pretty Mahjong sets, too!
6. Waterford Crystal
While you might prefer your modern bugs and glasses, there are plenty of people out there who are willing to pay top dollar on Waterford crystal. They’re been around since the 1700s, save for a century gap in which the company closed and later reopened, so they carry a lot of history.
The bad news is that most pieces won’t be intact, since they’re quite fragile. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t snag them while you can. Just make sure to do research on how to identify them in order to build up a sizeable sizable collection to sell- or keep, if you like the vintage look!
