Macaulay Culkin
How could anyone forget Macaulay Culkin who still trills long-time fans every Christmas Holiday with his fantastic “Home Alone” performance? After playing the role of Kevin McCallister, it looked like the sky was the limit for the superstar child actor. He even starred in “Richie Rich” and “My Girl”, further solidifying his path towards success.
But, as with most child actors, Culkin put an end to his career. He rarely acts nowadays, but his satirical lifestyle blog Bunny Ears is his way of still entertaining fans. There’s also a Bunny Ears podcast you can tune into on a weekly basis, but we don’t think we’ll see him on the big screen any time soon.
Vanilla Ice
The hit song “Ice Ice Baby” is so ubiquitous, we’re sure you’re already humming it as you’re reading this section of our article! The man behind it, Robert Van Winkle, also known as Vanilla Ice, stopped his music career in the mid-’90s and, surprisingly, got into real estate.
Nobody could have believed that he was a skilled remodeler, builder, and flipper. That was, of course, until he came out with the DIY Network television series “The Vanilla Ice Project”. So, in a sense, he’s still a celebrity, but he’s definitely not putting out any new hit singles!
The show is currently on its 10th season since its debut in 2010!
