Forgoing Curbside Pickup
Let’s go back to our first point. You’ve finished decluttering and got busy trying to sort out actually cleaning your home. But now it’s been so long that you’ve actually neglected truly getting rid of your unwanted stuff, so they’re still piled somewhere in your home, either your garage, attic, or basement.
Make sure to call a local organization that will pick up your unwanted stuff. You may have seen flyers around from some of these companies, announcing when they’ll drive by your neighborhood, so mark that day down in your calendar, and don’t forget to leave all those items outside for pickup.
Better yet, call the Salvation Army and schedule a pickup if you want to donate your items!
