Stashing Everything in Cardboard Boxes
Like many Americans, you probably stash everything you own in easy-to-get-ahold-of cardboard boxes, right? Well, these may be convenient, but there are two main reasons you should switch to plastic containers.
First, bugs of all shapes and sizes absolutely LOVE cardboard boxes. They’re easy to get into, and they’ll make cozy little homes among your stuff.
Secondly, these are susceptible to water damage. Here’s what you’re looking at! When you pick these up you could end up breaking the fragile cardboard without realizing it, causing all your items to fall and break. Or if you leave them like that for long enough, they could accumulate mold and other nasty stuff. In the end, you might want to throw everything out.
So, yeah, we’ll stick to plastic containers from now on!
