1. Tourists in Denmark get in the way
Many people in Copenhagen hate it when tourists ignore the simple Danish setup that separates the bike path from the sidewalk, from the road. The majority of visitors walk around onto the bicycle path with their big luggage and stop to take pictures without even taking a look at the surroundings to observe the elementary details first.
Another thing that local people hate is when tourists rent bikes that don’t properly signal. If you’re planning on going to Denmark, make sure your bike is completely functional and if you decide to walk, stick to the sidewalk.
2. People in Italy don’t like it when tourists don’t respect their food “rules”
We are sure that there are a lot of people out there who dream of going to Italy and indulging in fresh pasta, delicious pizza, and creamy gelato. Speaking of food, there are a few things that Italians hate when they see foreign people at their restaurants doing.
One of the first things they don’t like is when travelers ask for a cappuccino to drink along while eating. Local people have a thing for this beverage and they prefer to consume it before noon. Some of them say that the milk and the foam will make them feel full and skip their meal, while others say that all that dairy messes with their digestion.
In addition to that, Italian chefs hate it when people ask for ketchup to put on their pizza or when they order Americanized Italian food, such as spaghetti with meatballs, pineapple pizza, or fettuccine Alfredo.
3. Tourists take selfies at the sites honoring Holocaust victims in Germany
Many people from Germany feel disappointed when they see tourists taking selfies at concentration camp memorials or memorials for the victims of World War II in general.
What’s even worse is when some visitors take it a step further and they try to make Hitler impersonations or attempt funny poses or even victory signs. All we can say is that it seems disrespectful and unpolite!
