6 Valentine’s Day Activities To Do Rather Than an Overpriced Dinner

Time to get creative!

Maybe you are both creative by nature and you enjoy putting those juices to work! You can always draw, craft, sculpt or paint something together that commemorates your relationship! From matching mugs to something bigger, it would be a great bonding exercise and you can have something you can look at over the years.

Even if you are not that gifted in the drawing or painting category, or even at crafts in general, there are some wine and painting classes that would make for a great date night: you can drink wine and then the teacher shows you how to paint something, and you do not need to be good at drawing! No one will judge you and that way you also get to have a souvenir of your nice night.

New experience, strengthened bond!

Is there something that you and your partner have been dying to try but didn’t get to yet? Be it going to cooking classes or trying a new cuisine, taking dance classes together, learning about a new country you want to visit, or even a new language! Everyone has something of the sort in mind, but we all know those excuses we use to not start it and you kept putting it off. Why not use Valentine’s Day as an excuse to start it! You can do something that has been on your bucket list for a while and also strengthen your bond while you are at it too!

A walk down memory lane!

Going back to the crafting activity we mentioned earlier on the list, it doesn’t have to be anything big like that! You can easily just take a trip down memory lane by looking at your favorite pictures together: you can always stop to talk about all the good old memories you have together, admire the old times and sort through all of them. You can redo them in a digital album, or transfer the old film to a digital version so you do not accidentally lose the raw footage from years back and then print them out.

Together you can make up a scrapbook or a photo album, and include cute captions and dates for all your favorite pictures that you include. It can be a special one just for the two of you, or one dedicated to your travels, your family, special moments, or everything in between! There’s no right way to do it and we think it’s a wonderful way to spend the day when we celebrate all things love!
