10. He Was Given an Honorary Degree, but It Was Later Revoked
Back when Trump was primarily known for his business persona and as an entertainer, Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland decided to award him an honorary degree for his achievements in business. This all happened in 2010.
Well, just 5 years later the university would revoke the certification. That’s because they were uncomfortable with some of Trump’s comments during his presidential run, particularly on the issue of immigration.
Of course, it could be argued that Trump has made a pretty big name for himself and he no longer needs any honorary certifications.
