As a general rule, thrift stores rarely sell something for less than $3.00. So, when it comes to school supplies, it means that you could find a better deal elsewhere. School supplies like pens, scissors, notebooks, crayons, backpacks, books, and other necessities shouldn’t be purchased from a thrift store.
During the ‘back-to-school’ period, most supermarkets and stores have plenty of school supplies at good prices. So why would you want to pay for something used by someone else when you can buy it at similar prices brand-new?
