1. Macy’s
Macy’s may be famous for their thanksgiving parade, but there is more that they have in store for us! Every year they have a thematic window display and they never repeat their decorations. It is just magical what they do and they truly deserve all the hype that people give them.
This year, the store in Herald Square is giving us the heartwarming story of a little reindeer named Tiptoe. The windows will slowly take you through his story and slowly show you how he achieves his dream of becoming one of the reindeer who pulls Santa’s sleigh. Admire with your loved ones how he gets more and more confidence, and how his friends help him realize that sometimes all you need is to believe: in yourself and in others.
Or maybe, even in Santa!
2. Bloomingdale’s
The luxury store chain has a lot to offer, in terms of diversity of shops and designs, but they also strive to show wonderful windows every year too. They may not be as famous as Macy’s, but they do put a foot forward and you cannot forget their displays once you have seen them.
The Lenox Hill Bloomingdale’s decided to center their windows on the company holiday campaign – “Give Happy”. With the hard years we have had with the pandemic and the uncertainty that we all are living, some happiness is something we all need in our lives. And they have decided to deliver just that to us! The six windows will be full of popping colors and amazing sculptures, together with video walls that will showcase graphics, making everything seem right out of a magical book!
They are for sure going to put a smile onto your face!
3. Bergdorf Goodman
This store has always made sure to put out their most extravagant displays every year and this year they made sure to keep to their tradition! Like many of the other stores in the New York City area, they are choosing a theme for their windows and trying their best to make it come to life.
It seems like the designers, just like all of us, thought that living in the moment is important, as we do not know what the future will bring us. So, they’ve decided to focus on this display for the time being! The “present moment” is exactly what they focused on and have brought to life in their colorful window displays.
We will not tell you more, you will have to experience these for yourself. Live the moment, right?
