Cody, Wyoming
How about you finally go on that trip to Yellowstone that you’ve been putting off for years now? Time to head over to one of the five entrances to the National Park in Northwest Wyoming, Cody! Between late April and May, the park is finally awakening from its winter hibernation.
Luckily for RV lovers, there are several RV parks to pick from such as the Cody KOA and the Parkway RV Campground.
Of course, there’s much more to do in the area than explore Yellowstone if you’re looking for some variety. We recommend the Plains Indian Museum, the Old Trail Town which is a recreated frontier town with a saloon and 1800s log cabins, and the Whitney Western Art Museum. There’s also the notable Buffalo Bill Center of the West which includes not one, not two but FIVE museums focused on the legendary figure!
