You should aim your visit around April 25 in order to take part in the Wildflowers and Waterfalls Hike a naturalist program and hiking event. If not, don’t worry, there are many hiking areas you can enjoy even if you’re not partaking in that event.
Make sure to visit nearby Athens, a quiet college town with great food, great thrift shopping opportunities, and live entertainment all year round.
