5. Coughing into a cloth napkin
Yikes! Let’s just hope that the vast majority of restaurants have switched to paper napkins due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, if your favorite restaurant hasn’t, please, sneeze or cough into your arm. Coughing or sneezing into a cloth napkin puts restaurant personnel in a difficult and risky situation.
Think about it… Your server has to handle your leftovers/garbage (cloth napkin included). This means that he/she has to touch the napkin filled with germs. Therefore, do not blow your nose into a cloth napkin. Use a paper one and, please, take it with you.
