5. Canning Jars
Canning jars have become the face of organizing one’s home… they’re everywhere, and for good reason! They can be used in pretty much every room around your house. In the bathroom, they’re perfect for holding cotton swabs. In the workshop, you can organize your nails, screws, and other small items. Obviously, they’re also great in the pantry.
But a word of advice? Don’t buy brand new ones just because they’re everywhere. You can find plenty of them in thrift stores for a fraction of the price!
6. Antique Steamer Trunks
Antique steamer trunks used to be easier to find, but a sudden rise in popularity means you might have to look harder for them. Still, they can go for between $25 and $75 in most thrift stores and their versatility is worth the money, as is their unique vintage look.
You can use them as nightstands or coffee tables while storing extra pillows and blankets inside. They’re also great to store books if you no longer have room on your shelves.
