Franklin Delano Roosevelt was related to his wife Eleanor by blood.

Wait, what?! Although most of us don’t wash our dirty laundry in public, and by dirty, we mean arguments, discussions, and disagreements, it seems that the 32nd president of the United States also liked to keep everything in the family. It seems that he was related to Eleanor, his wife by blood. Apparently, FDR and his wife were fifth cousins.

Dwight D. Eisenhower was obsessed with golf.

The 34th president of the United States didn’t mess around (at all) when it came to golf, and he didn’t let anyone or better-said anything to stand in his way.

Eisenhower had a putting green installed right next to the White House, but the squirrels weren’t happy about it, digging up the green whenever they could.
