Marco Rubio
Every country came out with a plan as to how the vaccines would be administered, calling for first responders to be the first to receive the shots. The same thing happened in the U.S., but everyone was taken by surprise when Marco Rubio, who heavily criticized Anthony Fauci, got the vaccine ahead of first responders.
Despite his post on social media saying “I am so confident that the #Covid19 vaccine is safe and effective so I decided to take it myself,”
Rubio had heavily downplayed the pandemic, even saying that Fauci mislead the public in several ways, including the efficacy of marks and how many people would need to get vaccinated in other for the U.S. to achieve herd immunity.
Not only that, but Rubio was also resistant to recommended shut downs.
