Among the many that were skeptical in regards to the number of COVID-19 deaths in the U.S., we count Joni Ernst. She frequently mentioned how health care providers are reimbursed the higher the rate of COVID-19 gets.
The senator from Iowa then followed up by getting the vaccinated in December 2020. Along with the announcement, she also encouraged
Americans and more specifically Iowans to get vaccinated. She also extended her thanks to Operation Warp Speed and the tireless work of health care professionals across the U.S. who made getting immunized easier for the general public, mentioning how we are “one step closer to defeating this virus.”
