George Lucas
When anyone thinks of fleets of vehicles associated with movie director George Lucas, it’s usually TIE fighters, X wings, AT-AT’s or Star Destroyer’s, to name a few, it’s not usually fire trucks. However, on a ranch not so long ago in a galaxy not far away at all…..
That ranch is of course Lucas’s 4,700 acre Skywalker Ranch in Nicasio, California. Located on Lucas Valley Road (no relation, it was named after an early-20th-century landowner in the area), this $100 million facility primarily serves as a filmmaker’s retreat and houses motion picture sound mixing and recording facilities as well as serving as the corporate offices of Lucasfilm.
With an on-site restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and fitness center with racquetball courts, the man-made “Ewok Lake”, a hilltop observatory, a 300-seat theater called “The Stag” as well as theater screening rooms having its own fire department should come as no surprise.
The Skywalker Fire Department has actually been in existence for 30 years and consists of 2 full-time firefighters, plus a few volunteers, and two fire trucks. Although their primary concern is the protection of the ranch, their have been occasions when they have assisted Marinwood Fire Department. Like in 2018, when they helped battle a blaze that exploded on Black Mountain in Marin County.

Nobody would have guessed it but despite of his outrageous personality and Republican popularity President Trump became a lame duck President after only 1 term in office. The Democrats loved it when President Elect Joe Biden JR won the Electoral and Popular vote in November of 2020. Trump called it a fake and stolen election and never gave a consultation speech.
