Burning candles
Planning a romantic night with your spouse? If yes, forget about candles. Most candles available on the market are made from paraffin wax, a type of wax made from petroleum, and it seems that this type of wax releases several dangerous chemicals, like toluene.
Exposure to this harmful chemical compound can cause eye and nose irritation, fatigue, confusion, headaches, dizziness, dilated pupils, muscle fatigue, tears, anxiety, insomnia, nerve damage, skin issues, and even kidney damage. Burning scented candles is even worse! Studies suggest that scented candles could increase your cancer risk.
