These categories of jobs are one of the most important posts in society and deserve our appreciation because we need to live in a clean environment and they try their best to do their job – and this happens every single day, not just in this pandemic. Moreover, their responsibility increases these days, and unfortunately, they are still low-paid. 

“[US]$8.56 an hour is not enough. You can imagine the number of hours that we need to work to survive. [We] should be [paid] extra because they need to recognize us and our value,” says Jackeline Bonett, a janitor in Miami, U.S.
