
6. You opt for a soap that’s way too harsh
If you think that all bar soaps are created equal, think again… Yeah, all of them have the same purpose, but not the same ingredients. Some soaps are way too harsh than others, so you should avoid those. Dermatologists say that you should avoid bar soaps that have high pH because they remove the healthy oils of the skin while destroying your pH balance.
This type of bar soaps should be definitely avoided, especially when you know you have sensitive skin. Opt for a bar soap labeled ‘neutral pH.’ In general, they are a better option than most popular bar soaps such as Dove.

Tremendously important information especially about the use of Loofahs, who knew! I also never knew that I should be using Ph bar soap rather than Dove! I don’t even know what that is, but I’ll certainly check it out.
