4. Crystal Pepsi

Back in the 1970s, design trends translated to earth tones. Everything had to be brown, warm grey, or brick red. After a decade, bright neon colors became popular, and in the 90s, there was no color at all. If a product was clear, it was all the rage.

That’s why Crystal Pepsi appeared back in 1993. The see-through soda was only one year available on the market. And, in all fairness, it comes as no surprise since even its inventor said that it didn’t taste the same as the original Pepsi.

So, Crystal Pepsi was definitely a flop.
