#1 Tweet: A professor said that Katrina victims got what they deserve
When a sentence involves “a professor,” you might think that the sentence itself is about something inspirational or at least positive. Well, that wasn’t the case of Kenneth L. Storey, ex-University of Tampa sociology professor.
He definitely crosses the line when one day he decided to tweet the following about Katrina victims: “I don’t believe in instant karma, but this kinda feels like it for Texas. Hopefully, this will help them realize the GOP doesn’t care about them.”
And, as you can imagine, it didn’t take too long for a Tweeter user to criticize his “reaction.” After seeing other people’s replies, instead of feeling sorry for what he did, the professor replied that he’s only pointing to those who support the GOP.
