’90s Trends That Are Having A Comeback

1. Bucket hats

Who would have thought that what was once considered fishing fashion or even dad fashion, would come back in style so easily as the years went by? Not us that’s for sure. And if you ever found yourself being made fun of by the youngsters in your family, who is laughing now?

The bucket hats have come back in fashion in the last years, popularized by celebrities who found it easier to blend in while wearing them with a pair of aviator sunglasses. We doubt that any of them thought they would get so much traction, but here we are. They’ve started to be everywhere and recently, they are making fluffy ones to use during winter too. A very unexpected trend to come back around if you ask us.

2. Claw Clips

These used to be all over the house, as you couldn’t just have one. There was a visceral need to have one on hand at any given moment if you wanted to put your hair up. And frankly, it was easier and faster to use than to spend a lot of time trying to tie your hair in a bun. They also made for a cute, chic accessory and they were everywhere.

For a while, they were demoted and many of us used them to just keep the hair out of the water when we take a quick shower, but they have seen a comeback. Not only did the kids popularize them on TikTok and from there they spread like wildfire, but they have been featured in designer collections and seen on the runway too. Seems like this little accessory got to have a grand comeback!

3. Bomber and Puffer Jackets

I think most ladies will remember how cool it was when your boyfriend would lend you his varsity bomber jacket when you were cold. Not only that but they actually did their job and kept the cold away. Together with puffer jackets, we have seen these staple pieces make a comeback in the fashion world.

Not only are the stores filled once again with puffer jackets for the cold season, but they are also accompanied by bomber jackets. Different from the ’90s when Champion and Tommy Hilfiger were most notorious for making these types of jackets, now you can find them in any retail store as most companies are trying to cash in on the trend. It just means good news for us as we have a bigger pallet to choose from.
