Starting at the Bottom
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve made this mistake before someone told me I was doing it all wrong.
I used to start with the ‘easier’ tasks of vacuuming and mopping and gradually went up. Then, I couldn’t figure out why my floors were still dirty after finishing up. I later found out that the trick is to start up and work your way down so that the dust will always settle on the layer below.
By the time you get to cleaning your floors, you’ll essentially get rid of all the dust left in the room!
