Using Glass Cleaners on Electronics …
It’s tempting to use glass cleaners on Electronics, huh? After all, you’re essentially cleaning something similar to glass. But take Windex, for example, which contains ammonia.
You risk damaging your electronic devices, as frequent use will eventually cause liquid damage, bubbling, and could leave large marks behind. That’s because glass cleaners are known to strip away the upper layers of the screen.
An easier and safer solution would be to use a damp microfiber cloth instead!
The Same Goes for Stone Countertops
Again, using glass cleaners could also damage your stone countertops, which will lead to dulling over time. Similarly, home-made vinegar cleaners should be avoided. That’s because vinegar is acid. That acid will eventually remove the sealant off your countertops, and the vinegar will seep into the pores of the stone which will also lead to dulling.
If you don’t want to purchase a stone-safe commercial cleaner, don’t worry. You can just use dish soap and water for this step!
