Being Too Rough With Windows
A lot of households use newspapers to clean windows, but the truth is that newspapers may make the job even harder. They break down when they get wet and could potentially leave newspaper spots on your mirror frames and window sills.
Others also use rough brushes, scrub pads, and even razors to clean the outside of their windows, especially if they’re covered in bird feces and dead bugs. But you’ll end up with scratched windows and frames.
A far better option? Use one part water and one part white vinegar instead. This mixture will help break down all the debris. Then, clean everything off with a microfiber cloth or sponge, which are a lot better at collecting all that dirt.
